In the context of Corporate Social Responsibility, HROffice partners with various social initiatives. HROffice believes that in addition to a profit motive, you should also show responsibility and involvement on a social level.

In the Netherlands, more than a million people live below the poverty line. Voedselbanken Nederland is committed to helping those who need it most with food parcels. For example, in 2020, the organization distributed food to approximately 160,000 Dutch people together with 13,000 volunteers, almost 40,000 of whom were children. It is an important social initiative for which thousands of volunteers are needed now and in the future.

For HROffice, this was already an important reason 5 years ago to sponsor Voedselbanken Nederland with recruitment software in the form of the ATS. But it did not stop there. HROffice worked very hard together with the volunteers of Voedselbanken Nederland to add a new career site later: https://www.werkenbijvoedselbanken.nl/

Switching from one ATS to another ATS is not always easy. HROffice made this transition as smooth as possible for Voedselbanken Nederland years ago. The career site also had to be overhauled. The current website had to be taken down and a new website had to be created in its place. This time the transition went very smoothly as well and an API was used to create a link between the HROffice ATS and the new career site.

The HROffice Recruitment ATS and the new career site bring together vacancies and volunteers from Voedselbanken Nederland and the affiliated local food banks. Automation and organization of all recruitment activities ensures an optimal match between vacancies and volunteers. From creating and publishing vacancies to searching for, inviting, matching, following up, emailing and informing volunteers. Tasks that are impossible to perform with thousands of volunteers and without a recruitment system and affiliated career site. Voedselbanken Nederland now has the entire recruitment process in-house and under one roof at HROffice and both parties are very proud of that. An organization like Voedselbanken Nederland is completely dependent on volunteers. In other words: Volunteers are truly indispensable for Voedselbanken Nederland.
