Instruction API Connection | HROffice Recruitment
For the integration between HROffice and the career site, an API connection has been chosen. This connection makes it possible to retrieve job vacancy data and send candidate information back to the HROffice recruitment system.
Below is an overview of the key points to pay attention to.
1. Vacancy text
The full job vacancy text can be retrieved via the API and displayed in the desired style on the career site. If desired, the text can be dynamically constructed using text blocks. These text blocks can be added as HTML text blocks in the ATS under the section 'dynamic fields vacancies'.
2. Filters and other fields
The recruitment system provides the ability to send additional fields to the career site. For each job vacancy, standard fields are available that the recruiter can fill in. It is also possible to create custom dropdown menus via 'dynamic candidate fields' in the settings of the recruitment system. These fields can have different meanings on the career site, such as filters, images, videos, illustrations, and contact details of the recruiter.
3. A Dynamic application form
Each job vacancy text is followed by a dynamic application form. This allows the recruiter to determine which fields the candidate must fill out, specify which fields are mandatory, and set the order of the fields.
4. Pre-selection questions
In the recruitment system, pre-selection questions can be set up. These questions can be added to the intake process and will be filled out after the application form, if the recruiter chooses to do so. This must be available on the career site. The question types are: single-choice dropdown, multiple-choice dropdown, and open text field.
5. URL structure
A consistent URL structure is important for Google Analytics, especially if you use the analytics module of HROffice. An example of a correct URL structure:

6. Application method
The standard application method is the application form, but it is also possible to apply via email or an external URL.
