My profile

Updated over a week ago

In 'My Profile', you can update your personal information, change your password, and, among other things, add your email signature.

The changes made here apply only to your own account. Certain information, such as your entity and role, cannot be edited in this section. These can only be modified by the Super Admin or Administrator via the Roles/Rights and Users tabs.

Add a signature

When you send emails to candidates through HROffice, your own email signature will be used as the closing. You can set this signature yourself in your profile. A professional signature, of course, includes your company's logo. Below, we’ll guide you through the steps to add it.

To ensure that your image is displayed correctly in all email clients, the image needs to be hosted online (meaning it must be placed somewhere on the internet with a direct URL). This URL should then be used in the HTML of your email signature.

That sounds very complicated if you’ve never done it before, but if you follow these steps, anyone can do it!

Add a logo

1 Upload your image somewhere on the internet. Don’t know how to do this yourself? Ask your IT manager to take care of it for you. Your IT manager will then provide you with the URL that you’ll add to your signature.

Please Note! The size of the image you have hosted will also be the size of the image that appears in your signature.

2 Now you will add the image to your signature.

3 Go to Settings > Profile.

4 Scroll down to Signature and click on the HTML icon (</>) in the editor.

5 You will now see something like this:

Met vriendelijke groet,<br/>

<br/>

<strong>Demo Gebruiker</strong><br/>

Functie Titel<br/>

<br/>

Naam Bedrijf<br/>

(t) +31 (0)12 345 6789 (direct)<br/>

(m) +31 (0)6 1234 5678<br/>

6 Now you want to add your image here. I would like to place my logo between my job title and the company name.

I want a blank line above and below it. A blank line is added in HTML using <br/>.

To add an image, use the following HTML code:

7 Do you also want to add social icons? Then add the following code, where you first enter the URL to your social page, followed by the URL to the image of the icon you want to use:

<br />

<a href=”http://linkedin.com/bedrijfsnaam”><img alt=”download” width=”25″ height=”25″ src=”https://i.ibb.co/WGFjn9w/download.png” border=”0″ /></a>&nbsp;<a href=”http://facebook.com/bedrijfsnaam”><img alt=”download-1″ width=”25″ height=”25″ src=”https://i.ibb.co/2YgjGhM/download-1.png” border=”0″ /></a>&nbsp;<a href=”https://instragram.com/bedrijfsnaam”><img alt=”download-2″ width=”25″ height=”25″ src=”https://i.ibb.co/Q6BC951/download-2.png” border=”0″ /><br />

</a>

8 In the code of your signature, it will then look like this:

Kind regards,

<br/>

9 Visually it will look like this:

10 Don't forget to save your signature, and you're all set!

Two-factor authentication

It is also possible to add an extra step for logging into your account. Read more about it here:

Add a picture

By adding a photo, it will be displayed instead of your initials.
